Benefits of Membership

 

As a member of BAFTSS you will receive the following benefits:

• Representation to government, funding and research councils.
   

• Presenting your research at the annual conference.
   

• Attendance at the AGM; voting rights; the possibility of election to the Executive Committee next year.
   

• Eligibility to apply for one of the BAFTSS Awards – Best Monograph, Best Practice Research Portfolio, Best Journal
  Article, Best Postgraduate Student Essay.
   

• Access to our regional Postgraduate Training Events.

In addition to the above, postgraduate members also receive:

• Access to our regional Postgraduate Training events.
   

• Eligibility to apply for funding for postgraduate events and attending the conference.

• Entry into our postgraduate poster competition.

General Information

​

• Membership runs for 12 months from the moment you join.

​

• The fee is £30 (salaried) and £15 (students and unwaged).

​

• Please note that we have revamped our membership system. If you were previously a member of BAFTSS, you will need to re-join as a new member.
